Our  History

Our Company was founded 2000 as an Alarm and Security installation company in Pretoria, South Africa. As a result of the ever increasing crime rate, the company rapidly expanded as one of the leading private security installation companies in the greater Gauteng area. As an example of it’s far forward thinking at the time, most of the early 2000’s were spent promoting and installing Rokonet outdoor detectors.  This technology was mostly unheard of and not implemented by leading armed response companies of the time! In the years to come, this “grass roots” beginning and ” hands on” experience as installers has proved invaluable to our company foundation.

Fast forward 2013

Increasingly frustrated by the lack of newly developed alarm security systems, and ever increasing prices on out-dated systems on the South African market, ASD Alarm Security Direct was born.

As direct importers our goals are simple. Where possible we embrace a wide range of the latest technology Alarm Systems at modest prices direct to Installers and End users alike. Our products are sourced and manufactured to our specification, strict quality guidelines and field tested before being released onto the market. All our products are easy to use with “one touch” Arm / Disarm and GSM  capable for easy Mobile Phone communication and control.

Our products integrate  with all Armed response Company Radio links.

It is therefore with pride that we offer an unprecedented 3 Year Warranty on all our Alarm Systems and 1 Year on all Alarm Accessories.
